If you clicked on this page and do want to learn more about me as a person, by all means, continue reading.

My name is Eileen Gress and I'm a student at The Ohio State University, majoring in Agricultural Communication. I live on an Ayrshire dairy farm outside of Shreve, Ohio, which is owned by my grandparents. Our farm is all Ayrshires and we milk around 85 cows at any given time. We have around 20 dry cows and over 150 calves and heifers.

I'm currently serving as the 2012-2013 National Ayrshire Queen, and last year I was the recipient of both the US Ayrshire Breeders' Association Scholarship and Distinguished Youth Award. I'm the Public Relations Officer of the National Ayrshire Youth Board, and a youth member of the Promotions committee for US Ayrshire.

On a slightly more local level, I'm a past President of my local 4-H Club, a past President of our FFA Chapter, and the past President of the Ohio Junior Ayrshire Club. I graduated from Triway High School in 2011.

I created this blog to share my on- and off-farm experiences with people across Ohio and across the country, and to help promote agriculture to everyone.

Thanks for reading!
